A beautiful tea buds only tea processed into a highly oxidised red tea or hongcha. Unlike bigger leaves when fully oxidised which turns dark or blackish, fully oxidised tea buds turn golden.
This tea is harvested from the Assamica varietal of the tea trees found in Yunnan,
Dian (滇) is the official character of Yunnan province.
Being a highly oxidised tea, this tea is sweet light and easy to drink suitable for the morning breakfast.
