This course has an expanded syllabus as compared with Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Barista Foundation certification, with added content on green coffee, coffee history, ASEAN coffee industry and sustainability issues. The brewing method is espresso. There is a theory test of relative difficulty at the end of the course, and a role play between participants in the practical test.
ACI have received overwhelmingly positive interest and feedback on our comprehensive and science-based syllabus. Successful candidates earn a certificate from ACI.
We adopt a blended mode of education - 5 hour online theory lesson and 2 days of on-site practical lesson:
Theory - 30th Oct (Mon) and 31st Oct (Tue) 7.30 to 10 pm
Practical - 6th and 7th Nov (Mon & Tue) 9.30 am to 5 pm
