Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. In the southern highlands bloom many heirloom varietals which have evolved naturally over time to be both pest and disease-resistant. However, their hardiness is unlike that of a Robusta. These Ethiopian coffee plants are not just resilient, but wildly aromatic and unusual in flavor.
Our Ethiopian offering comes from Sidamo, replacing the old Yirgacheffe. However, it is no less fruity, with intense notes of citrus and berries.
