RED APPLES, MILK CHOCOLATE
This is not a single-origin coffee. This is a 'double-origin' coffee from the twin farms of La Quebrada and La Granadilla; both located near the town of La Union, high in Peru's Cajamarca region; both are certified organic and make for an excellent cup.
Farmers Martin (Quebrada) and Segundo (Granadilla) are also both members of the producer's organisation Alpes Andino, which is committed to high-quality specialty coffee. Founded in 2019 with just 25 members, it now boasts 115 coffee producers who meet to share knowledge on processing, coffee varietals and best practices for organic farming. That's why we're glad to bring you this lot. Despite all the challenges thrown at them over the past year, La Union has produced a truly excellent cup - sweet, with a surprising body and bold cacao notes.
