One of the oldest imperial tribute tea from Zhejiang province, this tea is famous for tea buds shaped like bamboo shoots with purple tips. This tea is actually produced in two versions, the deep traditional steam method and the modern pan fry method.
The steam method has a vanilla note and is thick velvety on the tongue.
