Cinnamon, mango, dried peach, starfruit
Grown by Alier Bolanos at Finca El Mirador. This coffee is picked and hand-sorted by him and his wife.
Cherries were later place in water tanks for 50 hrs, pulped, washed and left to dry on raised beds until ideal moisture content is achieved.
Alier is 34 years old, and got married in 2017 and is a father of two. He used to work as a forklift driver in Popayan, Cauca before deciding to move back to Buesaco in 2015 to raise his kids closer to his family.
He purchased a farm 5km, away from Buesaco, Narino and since then became a coffee grower.
Narino is an excellent location in Colombia to grow coffee due to its microclimate. It's one of the few areas in Colombia where coffee is able to be harvested in winter due to its unique micro climate.
