Atang Jungket is a region located in the Highlands of Aceh Indonesia. Most Indonesian coffee beans are processed in a method called Giling Basah or 'wet milling' because of the humid sub-tropical conditions. Atang Junket is one of the few dry natural Sumatran coffees which we were able to find.
Thanks to the efforts of a new generation, Sumatran Coffee is making a comeback on quality. This is bold, with notes of plums and hazelnuts.
